You will be scheduled for a clinic visit for a complete health assessment to confirm suitability for the procedure. Details regarding potential risks and benefits will be reviewed. Consent and payment agreement will be completed. A deposit of $2,500 is required before scheduling IGB placement.

The IGB is placed into your stomach during a simple, non-surgical outpatient endoscopic procedure that typically takes 10-20 minutes. You will be sedated for the procedure and you will need someone to drive you home. The balloon will stay in your stomach for 6 months during which time you will have regular virtual (email, text or phone) follow up with our team member and continued regular visits with your Lifestyle Coach. In person visits may sometimes be required.

After six months, the IGB is removed the same way it was placed. You will continue to work with your lifestyle coach to reinforce your new dietary and exercise habits for at least six more months.

Your new weight and feeling of health and fitness will encourage you to continue your new lifestyle habits. Although not part of the Program, you are encouraged to continue to work with your Lifestyle Coach.
